Dress Code

• Long hair must be tied back, worn off the face, in a bun for ballet. A bun, braided or ponytail for Modern and Tap
  
• No jewelry (watches, etc)
• Students will not be allowed to participate in the class without proper attire
• In the best interests of the student, they are to arrive on time and dressed appropriately for their classes as expected in any dance discipline
• All dance wear available at DEMI POINTE DANCE SHOP at 87 Water Street, Charlottetown

Modern

Girls

Any colour bodysuit, convertible honey or black tights, optional dance shorts. No T shirts or tank tops. 

Barefoot, footsies or jazz shoes.

Boys

Black cycling shorts or dance pants, any colour tank top or T-shirt.

Ballet

Girls: Creative Dance

Mauve sleeveless bodysuit, ballet pink convertible tights. Hair must be off the face or in a bun. Pink ballet slippers may be required for the year end recital.

Pre-Primary Ballet

Baby blue sleeveless bodysuit, ballet pink convertible tights. Pink ballet slippers may be required for the year end recital.

Primary - Level 2

Ballet pink sleeveless bodysuit, ballet pink convertible tights and pink ballet slippers. No skirts.

Level 3 - Level 5

Navy blue sleeveless bodysuit, ballet pink convertible tights and pink ballet slippers. No skirts.

Level 6 - Advanced

Any colour sleeveless bodysuit, convertible pink ballet tights and pink ballet slippers. 

Boys Ballet

Black cycling shorts or dance pants. White T-shirt. Black or white ballet slippers.

Tap

Same dress code as Modern. Fitted dance leggings are optional.

Ages 3-10 years : Black Patent Tap shoes with black elastic looped through the eyelets and stitched.

Ages 11 years and up: Black Oxford Tap shoes. No high heels please.
