Mallory has been a dancer since she was born, but at the age of five, she started lessons in step dancing, bringing home titles and medals from competitions all over Canada. At age 14, Mallory wanted to expand her skills and joined Danspirations to try modern dance and then added ballet. Dance has always been heavily intertwined in Mallory’s life, so stopping after graduating high school didn’t feel right. Throughout her studies at the University of Prince Edward, she balanced obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, continuing her dance studies and slowly transitioned to teaching. Mallory is now a full time kinesiologist and part-time dance teacher at Danspirations. She takes pride in sharing her passion for dance and music with her friends and students. Dance is a source of joy, a vent for other emotions and a way to connect with people. .
